Pass Renewal

We are so happy with our DVC and can't wait to stay.

Our passes will expire before we arrive and we want to renew. Does the discount go to the entire family or only the person who's name is on the title?

Also, can we get a renewal rate since we had passes before?

The DVC discount will apply to everyone on your household. Yes, you will get the renewal rate, as long as you renew within one month of the expiration of your current passes. If you are arriving within that one month time frame, you can renew in person at Guests Services, no need to renew by mail or phone.

Just for future referance. Lets say we buy AP's for out March trip coming up. But we don't go in March 2008. We are going on the May Westbound repo cruise in 2008 so I am not sure when we will be back at WDW. Aug or sept maybe but since we have to renew in the 1 month window. Does the renewal not start until we use them for the 1st time.

No, renewals are backdated to begin on the expiration date of the other pass, not on the date of activation or first use.

We have Fl. season passes we sometimes pay for the renewal but if we are not going back close to the same time we just purchase a new pass so that it last longer and we don't lose the months inbetween.
