Party tent/lighting rental question...

Does anyone know if long strands of LED rope lighting can be rented. My dgf has an image in her head of how she wants the reception tent to look. She's said she wants something like 30,000 (yes THOUSAND!) lights. LED lighting would be a lot easier to power but more expensive to buy so I thought about renting. She had the idea of searching the clearance racks after Christmas but that doesn't seem like the best way given the number of lights she wants.

You should be able to rent them from a party supply place. You might want to call an event lighting company (PM me for a referral in your area) because they can probably do something a lot more dramatic for a lot less money--and they will put it up, take it down, and determine if the service in your house can handle the load and bring in a portable generator if not.
