Party Size ADR - 7 vs 6

I am going to Disney in Feb and have made all of my reservations for 7 not knowing for sure if my hubby is going. I am going with my mother, sister and kids for sure but am unsure if he will join and probably won't know for sure until a week before our trip. Will I be penalized in any way since it is a party of 6 vs.7? Don't they add gratuity for large parties?

Only if you booked anything that is prepaid or has a credit card guarantee. If they asked you for a credit card number when you booked, those are the ones you need to try and have him removed from if he isn't coming. Don't know how easy it will be to do that on such short notice, but at least a week is within the cancellation deadline so you can ask if you can cancel just him. The prepaid reservations are CRT and the three dinner shows (HDD, Spirit of Aloha and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue) and the credit card reservations are Akershus, California Grill, Victoria & Alberts, the Fantasmic or Candlelight Processional packages.

Automatic gratuity will be added for any party of six or more.
