You people are so bad, I know you'll have answers to my questions!
I am not a hard liquor kind of girl, but we're having some people over tomorrow night and I know some of the guys like Crown and Coke and Seagrams and 7-Up.
I'm going to hit Bed Bath & Beyond in the morning to buy the necessary "equipment", but I'm unsure of the type of glassware that I need.
I'm planning on buying a couple of decanters, so that it'll look nice sitting out, but can I pour what's left back in the bottles, to keep it fresh until next time? What kind of glasses for the above two drinks?
I'm also going to buy an ice bucket and some tongs.
I have the wine thing down and beer is beyond easy, but the hard liquor thing just stumps me.
I don't want things to feel formal - just "put together". Am I missing anything?
ETA: I'm also open for a good red wine suggestion! I drink Chardonnay, but I want to have a red here too. Nothing pricey!
