Party on Sunday but I'm sick...what to do?

we've planned a housewarming/open house/we're back in boston party for new years day for a month now...lots of old friends coming, food is planned, all is set, right? except now I have a rotten nasty cold...it started yesterday and has gotten bad right away. I can't decide what to do...do I call it off now (and somehow end up all better by sunday) or do I keep it scheduled, and end up getting worse.

If it is not just you hosting the party then I would still let the party go as planned.

Go to the doctor tomorrow, and find out what you have. I may just be sinus. You can make your decision based on what you find out. Hope you get to feeling better!

If it's a cold, you'll probably be feeling a little better by Sunday. Just sit down, eat the food, do a couple of whiskey shots and you'll be feeling no pain!!

I would definitely check with the doctor first, this way if it is nothing major you can carry on with your well thought out plans. And if it is something more you can cancel and prevent spreading whatever it is you may have to your guests.
