Party of one character meal question

When I was google searching pictures of people at character meals, I saw some that showed the person/family posing with all the characters at that particular meal.

I'm wondering. Does Disney allow this for requests? I'm a single diner, and would love to have the rest of the characters in the picture instead of just me and a character.

Is this even possible?

I haven't seen this happen with my own eyes, and we eat at several character meals per trip. I don't know how it would work logistically, honestly. You could always ask your server, though.

I haven't seen it in person, either. I'm curious to know if any DISers have. It would make for a great photo

If they were not "promotional photos" that you found, then it might have just been luck on the part of those you did see. I know that when I have done a google image search for "Character Meal Photos" most of the ones with multiple characters looked to be promos.

I know that I have seen two characters at a table before, but usually that was so the one that was already there would hurry up as they were taking a while. I know that when we did 1900 Park Fare about 9 am, Mad Hatter was spending a lot of time visiting and other characters had to slow down as well.

I could see getting all of the characters at one time if you were one of the last tables left as then the characters might not have many tables to visit.

We've done a ton of character meals, and they're pretty regimented in terms of characters cycling through the restaurant on their own schedules. I would not count on being able to get a group shot.

Do they have photographers at "character dining"? or any of the table service restaurants?

Since it'll be just my son and I, it'll be great if they have photographers who can take pics of us.

Yes they do! I go by myself so that was my biggest concern too. They're also happy to use your own personal camera (all cast members are at all the photo spots)

Thank you. Do they have photographers at regular table service restaurants? I made several reservations but they are all non-character dining. Now I'm tempted to book at least one character dining.....

No they don't! But waitresses I'm sure would take your photo with your personal camera

We have a great picture of the kids with all of the tusker house characters last year! I scheduled either a late lunch or early dinner on a miserably rainy day and the restaurant was practically empty! The characters kept coming around, goofy played peek a boo with my youngest through the window separating our table from the food area. They all came over at once and we were able to get some great shots. Lots of fun.
