Party of 9- 2 reservations

What is the best way to ensure our families can get dining reservations together, we booked separately, a party of 4 & a party of 5 (includes one baby)? Most dining reservations we would like to eat together....

Could you cancel those and try to rebook as a part of 9? There is no way to guarantee that you will be seated together or close by anywhere. You could try checking in early to see of that helps. I am sure the CMs will be accommodating at some places but it may just not be possible at other times. Even with large party reservations it is not guaranteed that the entire party will sit together.

I would try to make one large reservation to maximize you chances.
