said because we are using the same ressie number there is a great chance we would be at the same table? we are at the kona @ 5'30 pm dinner.

In my experience, yes. They will accomodate you if at all possible, they just don't want to guarantee it.
 
Last time we went we had a party of 10, I was told that the tables could have separate tables. But except for CP lunch we always had one. AT CP we had a 4 top & a 6 top right next to each other. So they really do try to keep you together.

No guarantees, but yes, they typically try to keep you together.
 

We were scheduled to have 2 tables for a party of 7 at Crystal Palace. When we arrived, I totally forgot to ask about getting one table, but was pleasantly surprised when they sat us at a big table anyway. It was my Mom's first-ever character meal, so I was so happy that we were all together!
 
This is common. For our upcoming trip, Le Cellier needs to split a reservation of 6 to tables of 4 and 2. We'll just let the host/hostess know that we're willing to wait a few minutes to allow our tables to be near each other
