Hi everyone! We will be traveling in June 2014 and it will be my family of four, along with my parents. We are staying in 2 rooms at the GF, but my question is about making dining reservations. If I can't get a reservation for 6, but can find 2 separate reservations for 4 and 2, will the system allow me to book it since we have 2 rooms, hence 2 reservation numbers? I hope my question makes sense! :-). Thank you!

you can do that but will most likely be put at two different tables. We had to do it on our first WDW vacation because of two added people and they were put at a separate table most of the time.

When we were there in 2011 we had 17 in our group and many times we had 2 or 3 different reservations, usually within 5 or 10 mins. of each other. When we arrived for the meal we would tell them we were all together and they always tried to seat us as close together as they could. I remember more than once we were all seated at one long table. I think they will try hard to seat you together if you ask them when you first arrive even if you have more than one reservation. Also let me add that we are arriving in two weeks and this time we have 8 in our group and I was able to get all of us on one reservation for every TS meal we have with no problem.
