We rose early this a.m., since we had a ps for CRT at 9:00 a.m., we were at the MK by 8:00 a.m. and what a beautiful morning it was. We had our picture taken on main street and it turned out great. 4 years ago it was a gloomy day and the pic wasn't so great. We managed to ride the carousel and Snow White before it was time.
It was fun having breakfast in the castle. My kids had their picture taken with the fairy godmother downstairs. When it was time we went on up and I was surprised at how small the room was. No wonder it is so hard to get into this meal. The food was good, but I felt gross most of the morning. Too heavy for me, I didn't even have the sausage. I was surprised it came with sausage and bacon. The princesses came around, we had Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins and Cinderella. Snow White was soooo sweet, what a cute pose she did for the pictures. On the way out a CM gave my kids pixie dust and told them to leave a piece on every ride and it will ensure that they get to return to WDW some day. They really had fun with that. I think my kids took that true to heart. We even found pixie dust in the hotel refrigerator.
We then saw Mickey's Philharmonic and it was wonderful, don't miss this show. We made our way around the park, but kept in mind we were coming back for the halloween party. We left around 4:00 and laid around the hotel until 6:00. We dressed in our hawaiian costumes and were back at the park by 7:15!
MNSSHP was a blast. It was well worth the extra money we paid and I certainly had doubts on that one. I think the kids will never forget trick or treating at the MK. The line went very fast for our pictures, thought we'd do this early before we looked too worn. The lines were pretty long for candy early on, so we skipped some of them. We ran into the parade and it was very well done. I loved the zombies with the shovels, loved the way they dragged the shovels and sparks flew. Pretty cool! The lines were so short for rides it was just incredible. We went on Goofy's Barnstormer twice in a row without getting off. After the first ride the CM asked if we wanted to go again, and my kids were thrilled. Earlier in the day the wait was 40 minutes for that ride! We were only going to stay until 11:00 but stayed all the way until midnight. What a long long day. As you can imagine we were exhausted!
