Party of 18 at World Showcase TS?

Looking for any info or suggestions you guys might have. We're in the early planning stages of our Disney escape wedding for October 2010. We'd like to have all of our family have lunch together in one of the world showcase table-service restaurants during that weekend.

Are there any WS restaurants that wouldn't separate us? We're most interested in Biergarten, but IIRC the tables seat 8 each and can't be pushed together, right? That means 2 of our party would be apart from the groups and eating with strangers, which would make me feel bad.

What about Akershus? Does anyone know if their small tables are ever pushed together to accommodate large groups?

I'm fine with a few separate tables if it can't be helped, but I'm looking for any restaurant where we could at least be seated in as few groups as possible, without being a burden to other diners.

We did a grand gathering in 2008 with 16 people!

We ate at Biergarten - they had us in two tables right next to each other and it worked out fine.

Some of the other restaurants we ate at that accomodated us at one table (or tables right next to each other) were: Crystal Palace Breakfast, LTT dinner, Cape May Buffet and Mama Melrose's. HTH!

1) Other than Biergarten, you could be scattered.
2) Even Teppan Edo might have table not next to each other.
3) As for pushing table together, tough to do
. . . they need to worry about aisle access
. . . they lose a lot of revenue b y eliminating end seats on tables
