So, today opening the window for my first two days of the trip to make ADR’s. Even at 3am and half asleep it seemed picked over.

Although my plans are loose and I plan to take advantage of food and wine fest dishes since I graze, I still had a couple of superstar type restaurants I wanted to check off the bucket list. How hard would it be to get a walk up as a party of one? Let’s say california grill, rose and crown, boathouse?

I’ve got lunch ressies so far for le celier (never been) but I’m worried about the heaviness of the meal, and Oga’s which will be swell.

As a party of 1, I've had great luck getting into Cali Grill (bar seating)...same w/ bar seating at Boathouse! Never tried Rose & Crown....but keep checking as reservations open up. You can also set-up a reservation finder w/ TP!

Excellent news thanks! I’ll look up that feature with them, I have a subscription lol didn’t realize they had that! Thanks!

I assume you already know that Disney doesn’t like odd numbers so even if traveling solo, which I do often, you need to book a table of 2 at least. With Garden Grill, I find I need to book for 4! The system happily allows me to modify to 1 but won’t let me book for 1. Gotta love Disney tech LOL.

I actually have had good luck with both reservation websites and just random searching so keep at it! Having the reservation in hand is much less stressful than hoping for a walk up!

Good luck!

Interesting… maybe I’ll try that

I've almost always ended up having to book for 2. You don't even have to modify. You are not charged if you show up with less people than the reservation is for. You only get charged if no one shows up.
Thanks! I had no idea this was their thing.
