I realize that it is a bit early, but I just made our reservations for the end of Sept. this weekend and am wondering about this event. My DH does not like wine...will there be other things there that he can drink?

Any information about this event would be greatly appreciated...I have read a couple of reviews, but I just like to hear what others think about it. Thanks so much!! :goodvibes

There's bottled Evian water at some of the wine stations - most people use it to rinse their glasses before trying a new wine, but we actually took a bottle and kept it at our table to drink along with all the wine. Gotta stay hydrated! ;)

Having said that ... does he like beer at all? There is usually one area set up by Sam Adams that provides beer samples but the event really does go heavy on wines.

They have beer, champagne and water, not to mention the wonderful food they have. My sis and bro-in-law went with us and are not wine drinkers, but had a good time anyways.

I want more info too! We are HOPING to get tickets to go for the opening weekend (last Sat. of Sept.).

If I call and order the tickets the day that it is announced, do you think we'll be able to get them? How fast do they sell out, particulary that weekend???

P4TS has a capacity of over three hundred and rarely sells out early.

Party for the Senses is only on Saturday nights anyway, so it being a weekend doesn't make a difference. ;) You should have no trouble at all getting it if you call the first day.

This is the weekend I am hoping to go also. Maybe we will see you there! :goodvibes

He can have water, sometimes they will bring you a soda from the back.

In past years there have been beers and vodka to try.

I've been there when the Highland Distillers were pouring Scotch as well.

I went this past year with my parents and DH. DH does not drink any alcohol at all and drank the bottled water all night. There were also two alcohol drinks the night of our party. One was a shot called pisco sour and the other was Remy Martin, two flavors, VSOP and Strawberry Kiwi. There were 5 different Sam Adams Beers: Light, Boston Lauger, Octoberfest, Honey Porter and Utopias. Keep in mind that the items at each party are different from the next, so no garentee that these items will be available. (I still have my program from our event)

My parents paid our way for the Party, but DH said he would go again and pay our selves because the food was so amazing. It was a wonderful event that I wish I could do every year. :thumbsup2

We were not able due to work concerns to purchase our mid Oct P4tS tickets until early Sept and had no problem getting them, so I would think you will have no problem getting tickets.
