If any of you booked through Southwest, you should see if the fares on your flights went down. I now have $190 Southwest credit because the prices of both of our flights went down since we purchased our tickets.

Nice!! I just checked and my flight down has gone up $50 and the return flight has gone up $76. :scared1: Glad I booked when I did!!!!

I know, right?! I will just keep planning and tweaking the schedule and not talk to him about it. :rotfl2:

Word. Don't give him the scoop. Just print a daily schedule for each day and place by his pillow when he wakes up each morning. ;)

Hahaha. Awesome idea! Surprise him with plans just like people surprise their kids with trips to Disney!

My DH just goes along with whatever I say for each day. He never knows what I plan ahead of time. Just plan to your heart's content and tell him where to show up with a smile on :goodvibes

Thank you all for giving me permission to continue the obsessive planning. :rotfl:

Just thought I'd point this out...

Has anyone noticed the date? We are exactly 3 months from Christmas. :santa:

Also, on the Decorated Windows thread, someone posted this:

"I work at Target and not only do we have lots of Halloween decorations out, we have the Christmas lights out too! (Including the Mickey head lights! As well as Cars, Toy Story and Princess snowflake strings)"

I can start getting my replacement strings.

I need some advice. Since we are going the busiest week of the year, we've been told to get to the park at rope drop. Will it be possible to ride any rides after a certain time of day? Will it get so busy with crowd levels at 10 that we won't be able to enjoy any rides in the afternoon?

TIA!

If you ride the headliner rides before the crowds arrive, then you will be able to ride the less popular rides when the crowds are at peak. Arriving at RD does make a huge difference there. Line times may still be high but you'll be optimizing your time.

It would be helpful to know what dates you're specifically looking and which parks on which day. Its a busy week, but there is variation within that. Also, do you have touring plans for the parks, to tell you what order to go in?

I know!! Super exciting!! Christmas is around the corner. Re: Target. I actually bought a set of Mickey Christmas lights. They are battery operated. Red and green. $14.99

We are arriving on December 26th and departing on January 2nd!

We are staying in an offsite condo!

This is our first Christmas trip! We are very excited to go and we know that it will be crazy busy but we are prepared!!!!

We arrive the same day but we're heading out on the 29th. Thinking new years next year :)

Welcome :)

Of course you would be the one to point out the date. :goodvibes

I didn't see any Christmas decorations at Walmart last night. Must go to Target!!!!

Our WalMart is totally transformed! Christmas trees, ornaments, decoration! I'm patiently (ok, maybe not patiently :hyper:) waiting for some Disney ones, at least some window clings!

Really??? I saw lots of Halloween stuff but no Christmas. Maybe I missed it. :confused3

Yes I want window clings!!!! I think DH will freak out if I put lights on our POP window but I am at least doing window clings.

The Halloween stuff was over near the card section at our WalMart, all the Christmas stuff was in the Lawn & Garden section, hehe. My youngest was all about the trees that were up & lit! I'm definitely taking window clings if nothing else!

I saw decorations at Target but no wrapping paper yet. I've bought all but one of my 12 Days of Christmas gifts and I'm anxious to get them wrapped and figure out how much space they'll take up in the suitcase.

I did start putting together a Holiday Passport for Epcot. I have quite a but of creative work to do before the trip. But I can't work on it until after DS he's to bed. Of course, I also can't work on it (or anything else) while I'm playing Mass Effect, but that's a different issue. Immersing myself in the game is keeping my head from exploding while the trip plans are up in the air.

Fast passes!!! Seriously, they made even busy times bearable for us and are a life-saver. You can get a FP for something with a long wait and then check out shops or shows, ride something with a shorter wait, or grab something to eat. Busy times mean you won't be able to do as much (but getting there early is definitely a help), but you'll still be able to do a lot if you plan and take advantage of the fast pass system.

I have told my kids already that we might not to be able do every ride in years past, we will just have to pick our favorites.

I did join Touring Plans, I am going Dec. 26-Jan 2nd!!!:scared1:
