Mini heart attack time.

I'm not seeing any of my ADRs in the system.

Someone tell me it's all going to be ok?

:sad1:

Just try hitting the Update Reservations button on the right side of your Reservations page. That always retrieves them for me. :thumbsup2

Wow! You guys are a prolific group! I love it!

Thanks! We're starting out at Coronado Springs and then doing 2 nights at AoA:Little Mermaid at the end. We've only stayed at CR and Bay Lake before so I'm excited to check out some different resorts. I'm also a little nervous since Pop Warner will be at CSR for the first few nights of our stay, but I'm pretty determined not to let it bother me/us.

I have certainly been called crazy myself. And handcuffs and blindfolds can be the secret to a great time :)

And I'm kinda scrapbooky, in a kind of non traditional way. I just started posting some pictures of the book I made after I got back from my last trip in 2010 (way too long ago).

Ok, now I have to get back to reading and trying to catch up!
Thanks for the warm welcomes guys!

I saw your book another time- have to say I love it!

I've had that happen quite a few times. Update your reservations and they'll show up. I almost cried the first time that happened.

I see take out food in the background... (Sigh) I miss take out from yummy places...

And VERY sweet :D

He's very sweet. He also just watched an hour of Say Yes to the Dress - Bridesmaids and an episode of Four Weddings with me. And I was showing him Disney wedding venue pics at the same time.. No, I'm not trying to give him any subtle clues.. not at all..

He also brought us back bacon cheeseburgers. One of the benefits of living in a large city.

My hubby likes yuengling too. And the only reason I know how to spell it is because it's brewed in Pottsville PA which is less than an hour from here.

I love Yuengling, but it no longer really likes me. Gives me a horrible headache when I drink it.

Exactly. Is Disney expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? In my opinion, it's more than worth it. You pay a premium for premium service and entertainment, simple as that. I know people hate the comparisons to places like Six Flags, but it's entirely warranted. You'll pay just as much, if not more on food and souvenirs at other theme parks, and you'll not come CLOSE to the magical/carefree/child like feeling you're going to get from WDW.

The cast members are always more than pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to make someone smile. The kids at Six Flags? They don't give a crap if you're having fun or not.

There's just something about being at Disney, seeing the castle, hearing the "Welcome home" whenever we pull into our DVC resort, and eating in such amazing and well thought out restaurants..it just floors me, every time.

Ok, I'm really, REALLY wishing the next two weeks would go by a little quicker now..

I haven't been in so many years I'm considering this my first visit. With everything I've read and with how accommodating all the CMs I've already talked to have been, that is why I would be going back.

I used to have an AP to both Six Flags and BGW. Six Flags was fairly close and would be day trips before the summer hit. After the kids were out of school until September we wouldn't go at all. Not worth it and the employees acted like they were doing you a favor.

BGW (with the ex), we would go down 3 times a year. It was pretty, most of the employees were nice, but only a few ever went out of their way to do a little something extra, and there was always the one or two that made you question why you were there and kept coming back.

Good Afternoon fellow December Disers! Two great things to report today!

1. Two weeks from today I will be landing at MCO and searching for ME!!!

2. As of this morning I have lost 40 lbs since July!!! pixiedust:

I went shopping this morning and was able to get into jeans that were 4 sizes smaller! I did not purchase them though, I am holding out for 1 more size :flower3:

Have a great afternoon!

Congrats!!! That's a great accomplishment! :cheer2::cheer2:

Thank You So Much!!
Really! I'm so glad :yay:!
And I'm hoping the book I'll be working on soon will be even better.

WOW ..... (and I don't mean World of Warcraft :p)

That book is amazing, I love how it is so personal and not 'uniform'. It is beautiful .... and if you don't mind, you have inspired me so I would like to do one similar. If I post pictures of it, I will attribute it to your wonderfully creative mind.

I'm sad :(

I didn't notice this when I first saw it.

MK is opening at 8am instead of 9am on 12/8 .... I had booked a breakfast at CRT for 8am mainly so we could get pictures on Main Street when it was relatively empty. I'd read that it was rare, when extending hours just before the date, that they extended hours before the park, but mainly at the end of the day.

So now, we won't get our piccies like I had planned.

Bum.

I'm sorry. I wanted to do that too, but thankfully I had read that MK usually opens with EMH at 7 am the week of Christmas, so I didnt even try to get a pre opening breakfast.

But if your ADR is at 8 am, they will let you in before that, right? So you will still get empty Main St pictures. You just wont get that first hour of empty park touring.

I'm feeling bummed too with the fact that Wishes is at 8. I made the ADR for Narcoossee's at 9 so we would be there for Wishes. Still don't know what I want to do. :confused3

You mentioned thinking of moving, didn't you? Closer to civilization? Did I miss how the car is doing?

Hopefully Valgoof gets her answers in a few days.

I pulled my suitcase out and started putting a few things in it today, all stuff I'm not wearing now; shorts, tanktops (anything above 70 will make it tanktop weather for me), bathing suits and pool towels. It got me thinking do you plan your outfits for each day or do you throw a mosh mash of stuff in and make outfits as you go? When the boys are going I put outfits together in ziplock bags so they can just grab one and get dressed but for me I throw a bunch of stuff in and pick outfits as we go. That probably why it's seems to DH that I overpack. lol

Everything matches jeans, so I don't plan. But I do plan DS's clothes.

Yes - hopefully with in the year... We have to sell our house and hoping it sells this spring!!

The car is in the middle of negotiations :) but hopefully before we go away we get it back. They estimated the damage at $8200! we also have a rental that the ins company is paying for. So heading in the right direction!!

Darn Disney don't they know how we plan these things out???
