Howdy Dec roll callers! Guess what I'm in warm sunny Florida not ice covered NH which almost caused me to miss my plane!!

We've gone to DTD gotten TiW and our PAP!! Starbucks and then to check in at AKL!!!! Woo!! Oh and got my PP+ card

Currently at Starbucks for a potty break and chocolate milk for DD3 she's earned her first WDW treat

Hello December DISers! We have finally decided to book our first Christmas trip to WDW! We will be staying at POP, arriving late night on Dec 19 until Dec 26. Can't wait!

Thanks for putting such a great thread together. I'm sure there's a lot to read and learn to preapare ourselves for the busiest time of the year at WDW.

totally feel you - I'm down to my last 30 minutes! I feel the most efficient right now than I have all week!

I was productive this morning. I have more stuff I could do but nothing that can't wait 2 weeks.

We leave today!!! And as an added bonus--I woke up this morning with no voice. So, yay...good times! At least I'll be in DTD tomorrow afternoon.

Good? None. . We ate at Pizza Planet and ABC last year. DH actually requested ABC for this year. We just got burgers and fries. PP is just mediocre Disney pizza, but they have a cappuccino cupcake that I want to try.

None was the conclusion I was about to reach. Why does DH want to go back? Something specific? I don't think we have pizza planned for any other part of the trip (maybe WPE in DTD) so pizza could be an option. Best case is Min and Bill's is open, worst case Fairfax or Pizza Planet.

Actually MIL and FIL want to see everything we're doing. So I've got serious pressure to post.

I'm actually really looking forward to the weekend. I planned the trip to avoid the parade taping so we don't leave until Monday. Definitely nice to have two days to pack and finish planning. Most stuff is done. I actually expect to spend some time gaming this weekend, to keep me from bouncing off the walks.

Totally agree. Our DHS plan involves hitting a few things early and getting out by 11. Probably do lunch at Beaches & Cream

We just started the secret Santa for the office this year. I'm told to list 3 interests or gift ideas. I have no idea what to list.

I saw that. 4 fast passes within the span of a few minutes. I'd ride Dumbo if I can pull off all those fast passes.

Is it really only 1pm!!!! Took DS2 to school this morning, brought home Chick Fil A for lunch and just got DS6 on the bus. Mom was here with DS6 while I took DS2 to school and finished my wash and did my dishes....she's the best!! Now I'm waiting for DH to get home so I can leave home other DS2 and go get my car a quickie detail (wash, vacuum, and windows, thanks again to my Mom for the certificate to get it done). Tomorrow DS6 has basketball in the morning and is supposed to go to a birthday party in the afternoon. We are hoping to find something to do with the boys since we leave the next day. Maybe Hershey or Lancaster for the trains and Choo Choo Barn. This weekend is super packed!! At least it will go fast.

I used to hate the Pollyanna /Secret Santa bit. I never knew what to write and always got the person who seemed hardest to shop for. I'd rather do a white elephant/rob your neighbor.

My backup pair of sneakers for Disney are starting to bother me. They feel great for a while and then there's one spot where they rub my toe. I keep hoping they stretch out a bit and maybe that will help. So far no luck. I'm going to have to mokeskin or something. I'd try to break a new pair in before you go if the alternative is going with shoes that aren't working at all.

The pair I have on now (the new ones) are definitely going to be a no go. I've got an ancient pair that are decent that are my #1 pick right now. I've got two other pairs (I seem to have a graveyard for sneakers in my closet!) that are horrid that I'm going to try insoles in. I'd put them in my good ancient pair, but don't want to risk mucking them up since they are the best I've got right now!

Seriously considering attempting to find a different pair tomorrow and see if I can break them in before we go. Blergh.

ETA: Someone suggested soaking them in hot water and then putting them on while still wet and wearing for a few hours. I'm not quite ready to do that, but I might try putting them in the dryer and then putting them back on warm?
