part-day tickets

Was in Orlando last week for a convention and was able make it to Epcot for 1/2 day! When I went to the Disney gift shop in the hotel to purchase a 1 day ticket for $84 I was told I could purchase an after 2pm ticket for $61 or after 4pm for $48. I wasn't aware of this option and don't know if it's available at the gate? Maybe they are just sold through the convention hotels?? Was nice to save a few $$ though!!

Usually they are available only to people who attend conventions. We were able to get tickets like that once when attending a convention in Anaheim.

That is probably true...they never asked but just assumed we were part of the convention!

I've heard of that before...there are numerous special tickets available for conventioners. We had an event last year at the DTD Hilton and we got multi day/hopper/WP&M tickets for half price. We could also buy single full day tickets for $55.

Were you there with Sherman Williams? If so, I met a lot of your drunk co-workers night after night in the Beach Club Resort elevators, in the lobby, in the hall and gift shop oh and out on the dock and the beach. Unfortunately, my floor was also their party floor. Painters sure know how to drink!
