Parrot Navigation System

So......I'm driving to my hairdresser appt. this morning, and I notice something moving in the car ahead of me.

The driver had a parrot on her right shoulder.

That sure beats talking on a cellphone, drinking coffee or putting on mascara.

When we were in college Dh had a parrot named Pepe. That bird hated me but that's another story. Pepe used to sit on DH's shoulder while driving. It was very funny to watch people do double takes.

DH could do anything with the bird but Pepe hated anyone who infringed on his territory. DH was his territory.

Cool! I usually DIS with a cockatiel or two on my shoulder.

I hope that there wasn't an oven and a wishbone involved.

Let's just say it was the first year we were married. That was 24 years ago and I'm still here and Pepe is not. We'll leave it at that
