parks open later than posted hours

When we were at Universal last week, the posted closing time on the website was 6 pm. When we checked in we asked the clerk just to be sure, and she said the parks were open till 7.
We hadn't been planning to go to the park the first night, but we changed our minds when we found out we had an extra hour.
I don't know why they extended the hours, but we were happy campers!!
just thought I'd pass that along for anyone else going in the near future....

whichever park doesnt have Halloween Horror Nights is always open till 7p while the other closes early. on a non-HHN night, both parks still stay open till 7 anyway.
