The WDW MSEP had it's last original performance on September 14, 1991. It was moved to DLP in April, 1992.

The last current run of the WDW MSEP was Spring of 2001.

Still no answer on my truck route question…what I was looking for was Walt’s intention for the truck route…not necessarily what really happened, or what is currently in use at WDW today….

Someone pass me an Advil laced Dwhip . I've had a cold for the last week, which I found out yesterday is a sinus infection. Due to this infection the root of one of my teeth (which wraps around the sinus) is being crushed causing a lot of pain. Now I have to take 4 pills a day for about 10 days. Ugh...........

OK Higgs - maybe the trucks were to be on Elevated roadways. Or maybe the roads would be behind walls. Or maybe they would just have a completely seperate road system for the trucks. Any of these good?

CKJ - I believe the question was "What form of power/energy will never run out?" and Ellen said "Brain Power" and Judy didn't write anything - meaning "Nothing".

Here's another hint...Walt was also looking at an efficient use of space when he was thinking of where to place the truck route...

I did some research and found discussion about Walt's original concept for his Utopian city that became EPCOT.

One example of the "dream city" concept envisioned for EPCOT is the handling of traffic. No vehicles will be permitted at ground level. Two underground levels are planned, one for trucks and one for passenger cars.

And there was this insight to how he was going to handle climate control:

Perhaps the most striking feature of the climate-controlled downtown was its five layers of transportation: electric People Movers on elevated tracks; surface streets given over to pedestrians; one underground level for monorails and more People Movers; a second underground level for cars; and a third underground level for trucks. EPCOT would be thoroughly rational and completely modern."

Is this what you were referring to? I believe you were asking about any truck traffic, correct. He envisioned getting rid of trash through a system of vacuum tubes.

Higgs22: Mickey Train, Cinderella, Pete's Dragon, America, and Alice are correct. I will give you Casey Jr./Circus, but Dumbo was on the DL version, not WDW. I'll also give you Snow White, but Snow was nowhere to be seen at WDW MSEP, only the dwarfs and no mine car! No Peter Pan. I'm still looking for the float that was 1st in line and one more section/unit (near the back).

Great question Higgs! I'm new here but that delivery question might be deserving of a Shacky as I understand it!

Thanks....I thought this one would be tough...no Shacky yet...someone has to cry "uncle" and nominate the question first....

gometros....I have seen the part about the tunnels in the original concept of Epcot, but that is not what I was looking for...those trucks had to get to the tunnels somehow....

Higgs - would the trucks use the main road that cut right through the middle of WDW/Epcot? That would be efficient.

Mikelly - there were also the bugs in the parade - firefly, beetle, centipede - and the America unit with the fireworks at the end - and the Blue Fairy of course!!!
