Parks Game: Part 10! How Perfect is That!!!

Hello everyone - hope your day is well

To redeem my ChaChaCha AAQ card --

What was the name of the fireworks display when MGM first opened and who narrated it?

Wanted to ask everyone to spread a little pixie dust over to the Breakey Mom today...

Thanks.

Oh - wasn't that Sorcery in the Sky?

As for the narrator, I don't know - I'll guess Roy Disney...

Marty - you got the first part right - but Roy Disney did not narrate...

This is one of my favorite people...

Want to dig if you dont know

HE played Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew as a highschool boy in London... ;)

**EDIT** I suppose the hint was not really a hint unless you are a theatre nut...- just a tidbit I picked up while playing the same role... hmm... let see how about that he also narrated a VERY popular Michael Jackson video ;)

I figured it would Marty ;)

Here is a AAQ to that will "terrorize y'all's neighborhood"

off to yet another class

I'll use that AAQ and keep us on a Disney-MGM theme:

Name all the streets, aves, squares, etc... that are found in the Disney-MGM Studios theme park!

allright marty how about...
Mickey ave.
New York St.
Animation Ctyd
Sunset Blvd
Hollywood Blvd??

are there anymore?

Oh, there's that street that RnRC and ToT are on...that came up a month or so ago on this thread. I didn't know it then and I can't remember it now!

Does the street on the Backlot Tour have a name that all the false residence fronts are on? Maybe Residential Street??

There is also Vine Street.

Granny - you're right about Vine St.

And I completely forgot about the street that ToT and RnR is on!! (And I can't remember the name - I'm going to have to look it up).

I'd also forgotten about residential street! My bad.

We now have:

Residential Street - Granny
Vine Street - Granny
Hollywood Blvd - Melissa
Mickey ave - Melissa
New York St. - Melissa
Animation Ctyd - Melissa
Sunset Blvd - Melissa

That still leaves 3 more - one of which is the street that Granny and I can't remember !!:(

:bounce: and then there were 2!

Here's what we have:

Commisary Lane - Granny
Residential Street - Granny
Vine Street - Granny
Hollywood Blvd - Melissa
Mickey ave - Melissa
New York St. - Melissa
Animation Ctyd - Melissa
Sunset Blvd - Melissa

Here is an important trivia question:

Who was born 102 years ago today???

:earsboy: :earsgirl:

I'm going to take a stab without even looking it up and guess Walt Disney?

1Hour...thanks for reminding us that the Mouse was started by a guy named Walter Elias! :earsboy:

Marty...still trying on those street names. There must be one around Echo Lake.

I'll give you a hint - the other one I'm looking for isn't a street....

Sorry to have interupted the street question. Had just read the today's paper and saw that Walter Elias Disney was born today!

Happy Birthday Walt!!

Now, a birthday cake AAQ to Sandy, Granny and Marty! hmmmmmmmmm - I see a pattern here! The 3 y's men!

:teeth:

Marty - I'll guess there is a Hyperion St. (Dr. Lane,Square,Ave, etc)
somewhere at MGM.

Sorry - not a lake, not Hypeion.

Hint: It's on the guide map

Second hint - remember my original question:

Name all the streets, aves, squares , etc... that are found in the Disney-MGM Studios theme park!
