We have APs so I know we will have free parking at the parks

My question is: We will be staying at GF and the day we check out we need to get a rental for a few days as we will be off site at conf. Its a sunday so we have to pick it up relatively early b/c the hilton Avis closes earlier. We will have dinner then at GF. Can I park for a few hours at GF for free? Or do I have to pay?

THanks...I am confused about parking -- this will be our first time getting a rental!!!!! We will return it when we come back for a few days at BC after the conference...

You would fall under the "3 hour rule" and that parking would be free. (The other rule is the nightly parking fee for those staying at the resort which allows parking all the way to the end of check out day and coming back via bus/monorail from the just-closed park.)

You're a guest of the GF for the full day you check-out, not just up to the official check out time. So your MB should still work to allow you into the GF parking when you pick up the car. There should not be a fee for you since you won't be leaving the car there overnight.

Yes, parking at resorts is free. As long as you are at that resort, eating or shopping, you're good.
