What can we expect to pay for parking at all the parks and is it a super long walk to the entrance?

Parking is now $17/day and it depends on when you get there as to how far you will walk. Some of the lots have shuttles that will take you closer

You only have to pay to park once per day I'd you aren't staying at a WDW resort. Your parking pass is good at any park for that day. All theme park parking lots at WDW offer free tram service to the main entrance. The Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) is the parking lot for Magic Kingdom. From there you take a ferry boat or Monorail directly to the park. The TTC also has Monorail service to Epcot.

Actually, all of the parking lots have shuttles, but depending on where you park it doesn't always make sense to use them.

We actually prefer to walk with our stroller. A lot easier to walk a little farther than unload, fold it up, zip it in, get in, get it out......you get the picture.

For the same reason we generally prefer the ferry to the monorail.

You'll walk down your row to a "main road" towards the center of the parking area (follow the other people). That's where the shuttle comes along. I think the stops are marked, as they don't stop at every row. Do yourself a favor and take a pic of the large cartoon icon on a nearby light fixture, plus the painted number on the road for your row. Or write them down. You car might be at "Goofy, row 47." Tons of excited visitors don't have a clue where they parked or the make, model or plate number of their car. If you can't find your car and you tell the attendant you're looking for a white compact, most every rental in Orlando is a white compact, too. There's not a great amount of walking after the shuttle drops you off. At MK parking, after the shuttle ride, you still have to get on a ferry or the monorail to reach the MK front gate. Still not a lot of walking. Strollers and wheelchairs have to be folded for the shuttle ride. Strollers have to be folded for the Disney buses and the monorail, but not for the ferry.

If you're changing parking lots during the day and you paid to park, keep your receipt to show the attendant at the next lot so you won't be charged again.

Whoever designed the Disney parking lots was a great person. When are arrive, just follow the line of cars and then do what the attendant tells you to do. Why? Because you will be parked in a space that allows you to easily open your doors (both sides) after you pull in. The spaces are angled very well. Once you get yourself together at your car, walk forward, toward the park and then up the next aisle where there will be no vehicle traffic, just foot traffic. There will be other vehicles entered and parking but all that will be behind you. Once out at a main aisle going towards the park, there will be tram stops. If you want a tram, you can wait and board one or, you can just walk up on the pedestrian walkway to the front of the park.

As stated, once you get up to the main aisle going towards the park (where you can pick up a tram), write down, note or take a picture of the aisle marker that is on the pavement. That is your marker for your exact row for when you leave.

When you do leave, just follow the exit signs out of the park and you'll be home free.

I do suggest that you park where the attendants want you to park and not try and get "something closer". It's just not worth it.
