Parking

Has anyone ever parked at Port Canaveral? And if you have, could you tell me how much it costs. I've looked all over for this information but I can't seem to find it. I don't know, maybe you can't even park there. We were only on one other cruise and we got to the port via Disney Cruise Bus. If anyone knows it would be a great help to me.

We just got back from our 4 day Wonder Cruise (Oct 27 - 31). We parked our rental car at the port. Disney has it's own secure parking lot right next to the luggage drop off area. It was 10 a day to park and they do take credit cards! Hope this helps.

As ellyzma mentioned, parking is available for $10/day. It is payable in advance as you enter the lot ($30 for the 3-day, $40 for the 4-day, $70 for the 7-day). The parking lot is operated by the Canaveral Port Authority, not Disney. They accept cash, MasterCard, and VISA.

Would the parking rate be the same as a car @ $10/per day?

Large vehicles are welcomed, but they are charged twice the daily rate since they would occupy two parking spaces. So that would be $60 for the 3-day, $80 for the 4-day, and $140 for the 7-day.

Thank you everyone for the quick replies. The $10.00 a day seems to be a fair rate for the security of the vehicles. It helped me make the decision I needed to make. I think we'll go with the port authority parking. Many thanks,

I heard that you can book a room at the Raddison at the Port for around $79 a night and that includes free parking for the duration of the cruise plus free shuttle service to the cruise terminal.
