Parking?

We are considering a stay off site (or maybe at SOG) and we will have our own car. How much is it to park at Disney? Do they have some sort of weekly pass you can buy so you don't have to buy a new pass each day? Also, can you just park at the TTC and take Disney transportation from there?

When I was there in Feb 05, parking was $8. a day, I don't think you can pay for it weekly. I believe disney transportation is only for onsite guests.

It's $9 a day, and it's good for the entire day. There's no "advanced" parking. You get a plackard to put in your window. If you go to a different park, you only pay once. Just show them the card and they'll let you in. The cards are dated so you can't use them the next day.

If you are going to MK, you park at the TTC. For anywhere else, I'd recommend parking at their lots. If you get there at opening, it's a LOT easier to walk (or take the tram) up to the park than to transfer at the TTC.

To be perfectly honest, the only parks I KNOW TTC can access are MK and EPCOT. You can take the monorail or ferry to MK or the monorail to EPCOT. MGM and AK must be bus access, but I'm not sure where you'd pick up? You could monorail to one of the resorts (Contemporary, Poly, or Grand Floridian), and tak their bus but either way you're adding a lot of time and hassle.

Disney transportation is for everyone with a park pass or staying onsite !!

Here is a rundown of places to park and how to get to the parks.

TTC is the parking lot for MK, from here you can take the monorail to EPCOT, or buses to any other park.

If you park at EPCOT (my favorite place to park), to go to MK get on the Monorail to TTC and then get the express monorail to MK's entrance, to go to other parks take a bus or take the boat to MGM from the back of EPCOT(International Gateway)

At MGM the same way you can take the boat or bus to EPCOT and buses to the other parks(TTC for the MK)

AK is kindof in the corner of WDW and basically it's buses wherever you want to go.

I don't remember if I paid $9 or $10 to park last time I went, I'm thinking of upgrading to an annual from a seasonal to avoid paying parking!!

If you stay at SOG, you do not have to pay to park at the parks, but SOG charges a daily fee to use the parking garage (it was $3 last Sept. but I don't know if that is a current price).

Current price at SOG is 5 bucks a day.............guess it went upwith everything else

It was $9 when we went a couple of weeks ago. You can use the TTC to get around but it is usually easier to park at whichever park you are going to for the day. Once you pay once it is good for all day.
