Parking with dinner reservations

I read on the Resort forum where you cannot park at a resort if you are not staying at that resort. We are staying offsite but have dinner reservations with friends at the Yacht Club and Grand Floridian. Will we be allowed to park at the resort? The other posts mentioned having to park at the Transportation Center and use a Disney bus. Thank you!

If that is the case, will have time to cancel the reservations.

My understanding is this should be fine. Just give the name of person on restaurant reservation at the gate and can’t park in lot for more than 3 hours. Others can chime in if I’m mistaken.

If you have an ADR you should be fine. It's those without a reservation that may not be let in by car.

We have never had an issue getting to park at a resort if we have an ADR at that resort.

Are the reservations (ADRs) in your name too? Without your name on then you could be turned away. What happens is people try to use both of those resorts (any around MK or Epcot) to try to park and bypass TTC (in the case of GF). But with your name on the ADR you should be good to go.

I was just at Disney and I stayed off site. They ask you for your name and for your ID when you are driving through the hotel security. They check your name on your ID with your reservation and the time of your reservation and that’s it. You just park and walk in. Have fun!!

We are local and regularly go to WDW restaurants. Never a problem getting into the resort with an ADR.

Not a problem. Just make sure your name is on the reservation and have your ID handy just in case.

Re name on reservation - you need the name of the person managing the reservation in MDE, if that’s not yourself.
