Parking @ Universal? Character Meal Only.

We have a reservation for 6\25 for a character meal at the Trattoria at PBH. How does that work as far as parking is concerned?

Is it similar to WDW when you go for meal only your name is on a list when you get to the parking lot attendant?

I hope this makes sense, and someone out there can tell me the best way to get there, and where to park the car etc.

You can park at the hotel, but they will charge you $6. When you get there, just let them know you are there for dinner and you should be fine.

I thought I read somewhere that you could get your parking validated, thus saving the $6, if you are eating at one of the hotel restaurants. I am not sure about that though. Does anyone know?

Did they tell you what characters will be there? I have ressies at Confisco's for Sat. morning, and I'm not sure who will be there.
I'm hoping Spiderman, because my DS - age 7 will flip.

They indicated that scooby and the gang would be there and possibly spiderman......we'll see!

We went to Trattoria about a year to the day and it was Scooby and Woody.
I thought the charge for parking was $6 for 2 hours for non-guests and 8 for 2-4, 10 for 4-6 and 15 for 24. Beyond 24 I think they keep your car.
