parking/transportation at Pt. Canaveral?

Is it hard to park there and get to the ship? We are driving and don't want to have to pay disney's $118.00 for 'ground transportation'. I originally thought this was airport transfer but now I wonder if you can even get to the ship from parking?

It's just a hop, stip and a jump walk from the parking lot to the terminal, not far at all. Parking at the port, as far as I know, is still $10.00 per day.

It is very easy parking at the Port. As Andy said, $10.00 a day for parking. You pull into the Disney area, unload your car, the porters help and then one person, with their picture id, drives over to the parking lot. It only takes about 5 mins to get parked and back to your group. They check your ID after you park and are walking back to the terminal.
