in the past we would go visit the boardwalk area in the morning and afternoon by parking at boardwalk resort. we love walking and relaxing at the boardwalk and grabbing a lunch (usually without add) we never had a problem but now with the pay parking situation will we be relegated to a 3 hour limit. how are they managing this situation for guests who want to visit. are they enforcing the 3 hour rule.

The guideline is REALLY in effect to prevent people from parking there with the purpose of visiting Epcot, to avoid paying the parking fee at the theme park entrance.

Those that are visiting a resort don’t pay to park. Parking fees are only charged to those staying at the resort.

I don't think they are enforcing an exact three hour limit. We just came back and went to several of the monorail resorts for dinner and drove. We received a 3 hour parking pass at the Poly on New year's Eve. Except it didn't have any sort of time stamp on it as to when we arrived or when we should leave. So I wouldn't really worry about it.
