parking question - MGM ok for this?

We are arriving on Sunday Sept 2nd and plan on going to Epcot that night. After the park closes we were wanting to go to beaches and cream for some ice cream then walk over and put put at the place near the dolphin.

My problem is I don't really want to have to take a bus from the dolphin over to the TTC or DTD just to catch a bus back to my hotel (CBR) so I thought about driving. However, we can't park at Epcot cause we would not be able to get back through to our car after put put. We can't park at Beach Club because they would only give us three hours if we had ADR's at Beaches and even if they didn't time restrict us I think it is bad form when we plan to be at EPCOT for several hours.

Sooooo (sorry to ramble) I was considering parking at MGM and boating over to Epcot. Is it a far walk along the waterway back to those lots from the Dolphin? Or how late will the boats run after Fantasmic (which is at 8:30 that evening).

The buses generally run up to 2 hours past the park closing. So they most likely will run until about 10:30....but do you think you will done at the minature golf course by then? Will you be watching Illuminations? Because the show starts at 9:00, I think Illuminations lasts about 20 minutes so you will be leaving Epcot until around 9:20 or later. Then walking to Beaches and Cream (which will be packed) and then over to play golf. I would think by the time you are done it will be later than 10:30, and you have not even walked over to MGM.
The buses do not go from the resorts to the TTC so you can not use that plan.
Your best bet, is to take the bus from the CBR to Epcot, and then once you are done playing golf, go over to the Dolphin and either 1) get the bus to DTD and then from there your bus to the CBR or 2) take a taxi from the Dolphin to the CBR.
