Parking pass question

Hi all!

So this will be our first time driving to Disney World in a long time (been using Magical Express on the past trips). We did online check-in, so we'll be notified of our room via text and I know we can go straight to our room. My question is where do I pick up the parking pass? In the past, we always received it at the front desk with check-in, with the packet. Should I ask for it at the gate or do I still need to stop by the front desk? We'll be staying at Pop Century.

Thanks!

They are doing away with the parking passes and just scanning MBs now.

I received a parking pass at BWV last month, at the guard shack, and without asking for it (I figured they were all finished with them now). My understanding is that they are doing it in phases, so it may be that BW is one of the last to get rid of them. I didn't get one when I stayed at POFQ in March.

I would think it would be difficult to know which cars belong to resort guests at resorts where parking may be more strict (such as Epcot resorts and CR) without the parking pass in the window. It's not like they ask for your tag number or make/model of car like some hotels do.

They are in the process of installing cameras that record your plate number when your Magic Band is scanned.
