Parking near Citrus Bowl

Is anyone local or familiar with the parking near the Citrus Bowl? We are going to a soccer game 5/8 and Ticketmaster doesn't have any parking passes (yet maybe?) and there are some being sold on stubhub and there is a website I found called Parkwhiz but I don't know what lots are reputable or not.

I am used to stadiums here where they have their own parking garages you can park at.

Our seats say to enter on the "D" side but I'm not sure how its set up. Would parking on any 'side' still be ok?

Hope someone knows, thanks!

Yes. I have been to a few of the matches at this point and there is ample parking around the grounds. Usually around $20.00 to park at any of these lots.

I avoid the 4 like the plague so I come up Old Winter Garden Rd. and leave that way as well. Very light traffic compared to everyone trying to get back on the E/W Expressway or to the 4. You can actually take Old Winter Garden to Apopka Vineland and be back at Disney in less than 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Much easier (to me) than the 4 usually is.

I'm going to the same game! I assume you will be cheering for Orlando City? My husband and I will be flying down from Massachusetts to cheer for the Revolution! (our son works for the team). We didn't think that 1500 miles was too far to go for a soccer game especially since we can combine it with a trip to DisneyWorld!

Yes we are cheering for Orlando. We are actually in Michigan but we plan to move to Orlando in the next couple years and we don't have an MLS team here so that is our team LOL- we are in section 127 (corner but at least we are there)

Eddie, I'm not too familiar with some of the roads you mentioned. We will be leaving from Vistana (staying at Pop first and then Vistana) which if you're local you know is on 535 over by the Walgreens...and you are saying don't worry about trying to find somewhere to pre-pay for parking?

I appreciate the help!

Sorry, yeah we live in Dr. Phillips here. Yes, you don't need to worry about pre-paying unless you just don't want to worry about that and pay before you go. I have been to a few matches and have always had a place to park without pre-paying.

I am pretty familiar with the WDW/Universal area as we have been there many times and both of my daughters are on the CP right now but I don't know the 'good' routes. I think one of my daughters went to an Office Depot by you to buy her Amazon Fire by the way. Anyway, can you give me a little bit of directions from the Vistana area? thanks again :-)

No worries.

If you were say at The Crossings shopping centre there right off Disney Property, here is how I would go to the grounds via non-toll "back roads". It should only take about 30 minutes or so and like I said, no getting on the 4 before or more importantly, after the match, not a lot of traffic signals and no tolls this way.

Take 535 (Apopka Vineland Rd.) (North) to Old Winter Garden Rd.
Take a right (East) on to Old Winter Garden Rd.
Follow Old Winter Garden Rd. until it turns into W. Washington St.
The stadium will be on the right about a mile up. You can't miss it.

Park anywhere near there in any of those lots and they usually run about $20.00. Most are fenced in and have some sort of security around them. It's not in the nicest of areas in Orlando so a fenced in lot is a plus.

This is the way we take from Dr. Phillips and others may have better ways but we never have issues from our area going to the grounds like this.
