Parking near Baltimore Amtrak train Station?

Does anyone know where we can park to catch the train from Baltimore to Orlando? We will be staying 12 days and I hate to pay $11/day to park in their lot. We will if we have to, but if anyone has any better ideas, they would be greatly appriciated.

can you get on at the bwi amtrak station it used to be free but do not know if you can leave your car that long or if it's that safe to leave there that long.bwi station is on md rotue 170 just before the airport

Great suggestion. Thank you for the info. I am going to call amtrak and check into it right now.

Oh well that didn't work. We can park there (at BWI), but after we catch the train to Penn Station, the price of our trip increased by more than the amount we would have to pay to park at Penn Station.

Any more suggestions?

How far away from Baltimore are you? Can you catch light rail, MARC or the Metro into Penn Station? Alteratively, if airport parking is cheap or free, you can take light rail from BWI to downtown.
