Parking lot tram questions

I tried doing a search for this subject, but my page keeps freezing up everytime I try. We are going in April (16-23). My question is what time does the first tram run from the parking lot to the entrance of the park. The parks are scheduled to open at 9am that week, so if would getting there at 8am be sufficient enough time? We already have our tickets, but will need to rent a stroller first thing. In our past trips we always traveled with other family members who were slower so we always managed to get there at 9 or later. I want to be as close to the rides at opening time as possible. Thanks.

I would also like to know when the trams stop running for the night.

Trams start running basically when the parking lot opens. They usually stop between 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hours after park close.

(Keep in mind that all the parking lots at all 4 parks are within walking distance of the location that the tram drops you off at. In some cases, it may be faster to walk than to take the tram, espicially Epcot during most times of the year)

It should be noted that for the Magic Kingdom, trams will not start running until they start parking in the further parking lots. (typically 8:00-8:15am) Also, guests will be held back at the TTC until usually 8:45.

Of course, it is a pretty easy walk from the front MK lots. In fact, we always start walking and often beat--or tie--the tram arrival time.

Indeed, I would agree, it's not far. (I walk from the Chip 'n Dale lot every day) However, there are many that would say that it is a very far walk.

Thanks for the info. If I manage to get there early enough walking is fine with me. In the past we havent so we always got stuck parking in "Neverland" and had to use the trams. Hoping this time will be different.

To reiterate what Tyler said...... keep in mind that you will not be able to get to MK until close to park opening. All non resort guests are held at the TTC until about 15 mintues before park opening. At that time, you will be allowed to board a boat or monorail to get to MK. The resort monorail runs earlier than that, but it is for guest that are staying onsite at those resorts as well as folks needing to get to a PS at one of the monorail resorts.
