Parking lot near Harbor / Katella?

We're staying at the Alpine Inn near the corner of Harbor / Katella. Older reviews say there was a remaining sliver of the Disneyland parking lot right behind the motel where it was easy to catch a tram to the main gates. Is this lot still there and is it still possible to catch a tram from here or was it eliminated in the latest expansion?

The parkinglot is still there. Someone on another board said that the tram runs some of the time. It depends on how busy it is and how much of the parkinglot they are using.

Yes the lot is still there, but its not used during the week, so the trams are not running. You can still walk through it though.
