We are planning a vacation at HH with a large group and want to ride together. Has anyone taken a large vehicle such as a 15 passenger van and had any parking issues at the resort. I am getting mixed messages from the staff at HH on this issue. Some CM's think it is no problem, whiles others are not sure.

A van will fit in the outdoor lot but not under the lodge.
When the resort is busy parking does fill up.
Worse case scenario would be parking in the Shelter Cove lot before you cross the bridge to DVC.

I watched a man try and get an RV into the resort one time - boy did he have a terrible time. It wouldn't make the turn right after the security gate, it was too big. We were having dinner at Shelter Cove and watched him try and get the RV turned around. He finally got it turned around and out of the resort, but I wasn't sure he was going to pull it off!

I would think that you could park the van down at the end where there is a circle drive (where the kayaks leave from) I have seen an RV and larger vans down there. That being said, the spaces might fill up if you come and go much.

I agree that you won't have a problem in the outside spots and even a 15 pax van isn't crazy over sized, but if you were talking an extra long truck (super cab with long bed) or RV type vehicle it could be much more problematic.

The resort itself has a few 15 passenger vans, if I remember right. They're parked either across from the lodge or down by the circle the PP mentioned.
