Do you have to pay to park your car in a disney owned resort? Do you need to be staying there to park there? One more question: Is there parking at Down Town Disney? If so, how much do you pay? If you already payed to park at one of the parks , do you have to pay again to park down town?

Parking at all WDW resorts in their self-park lots is free, valet parking costs $6 per day. You do not need to be staying at a WDW resort for free parking, but resorts close to a park (ie Poly, GF, CR, YC/BC and BW) usually hand out 3 hour parking passes to those not staying at that particular resort.

Welcome to the DIS!

You don't have to pay to park at Downtown Disney.

You don't have to pay at a resort unless you valet park. That is $6.

There is a time limit if you're not staying at that resort for the Contemporary and Polynesian (at least these two, I'm not sure about others.) If you valet park, there's no time limit. They just don't want people parking at the resort and then spending the day at one of the parks, but they do give you plenty of time to get a meal and explore the resort.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you don't have to pay to park at any of the parks.

How about the MK resorts? Do they just take your word for it at the toll plaza?

Do the Swan and Dolphin have the same policies?
