Parking for Napa Rose on a busy night

We are meeting friends for a birthday dinner on July 18th at Napa Rose. We won't be going into the parks. Is there restaurant parking? Valet? I've only ever parked in the large structures, and I'm worried they'll be full that night because of the 60th.
thanks,

The parking structure is for the theme parks...so do not go there.
You need to park at the GCH (that is where Napa Rose is). They will validate when dining there for self or valet parking.

Napa Rose only offers 5 hours of valet parking, we've always been staying at GCH so I always have just paid the flat rate.

It's $25 to valet park at GCH for Resort Guests but Self-parking is $17 for the first hour plus $9 per hour per vehicle, with a maximum rate of $53, but it's pretty far to walk.

Non Resort guests Valet parking is $25 for the first hour plus $9 per hour per vehicle, with a maximum rate of $61 if you don't get a validation.

Okay, good to know. I can't imagine we'll be there more than five hours, so the validation at GCH should work out great. Thanks!

You never know...we once had a friend come meet us and he stayed about 6 1/2 hours without it feeling like more than an hour went by. I would recommend to set an alarm when you park so you are aware of your time. They're pretty strict about the validation as people park there, eat, and go to the park, then try to use the validation.

Plus we usually take 3 hours to eat at NR and it you get an after dinner drink at Hearthstone and start chatting time can get away from you :)

Well, our dinner reservation isn't til 8, and we're paying a babysitter to stay home with the kiddos, but I will set an alarm even so! Thanks again.

You can also park in the DtD lots (valet or self parking -- we usually park in Lilo). 3 hours free, 5 hours with a validation from a TS restaurant or the movie theater. NR counts as a TS validation. Ask your server to stamp your ticket.

Are you sure? Because I thought only DTD restaurants, not the ones in the hotels, would validate DTD parking. For Napa Rose, parking is "supposed" to be valet at the GCH. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the hostess at Napa Rose is unable (or unwilling) to validate a DTD parking ticket.

Yes, I am sure. We've done this many times and never had a problem. NR servers will gladly validate your DtD ticket. In fact, the first time we did this we had not asked for a validation, assuming it wouldn't be given. We were going to pay for the extra 2 hours when the parking booth CM asked us if we had any receipt for a TS restaurant in DtD. We said no, we only had a receipt for NR. He said that was great because NR counted for validation, viewed our receipt, and let us go without a charge.

Why park so far when you can get 5 hours validation for NR at GCH? There's no reason to park and walk IMHO

We like walking. It helps us develop an appetite for our meal and to work off the fullness afterward. And when the hotel is packed or the drop off area is very congested, it is quicker for us to park in DtD and walk. We've parked at M&F for a dinner at NR and enjoyed the walk. If you don't like to walk far to NR, that's fine. Different strokes!
