Parking for lunch at RFC, AKL?

This my first post so bare with me!

1. We will be going to WDW the week of Labor Day and staying off-site at Sheraton Vistana. We would like to go to lunch Monday to RFC at Animal Kingdom. Do we need to pay to park just to go to lunch? We also would like to see AKL, would we be able to park there and just take the transportation to AK?

2. We would like to see the electric water parade from the Poly. on Saturday evening (maybe even the fireworks if it's not too late for the kids). Would our best bet be to take the bus from Downtown Disney? Where would we go from there?

3. Last question, would like to try breakfast at Chef Mickey's one morning. If we have priority seating, can we park at the Contemporary?

Yes. You could go to lunch at the RFC at the Marketplace without paying for parking, and it will be less crowded as well.

No. You can't park at a resort while going to a park unles you are a guest of that resort, or if you want to pay to valet the car there ($6 plus tip)

Yes, however due to many complaints about non-Polynesian guests over running the Polynesian during peak periods, you might be stopped from viewing there. If you book dinner at OHanna or Kona it shouldn't be a problem though.

Not for the entire day. They will give you a three hour parking pass, and they do TOW those who overstay their welcome. You can either leave your car at the TTC and take the monorail to CM's, or move your car to the TTC lot after breakfast.

Thank you for the quick reply. Too bad about the Polynesian. Would it be better to try another location, or are there complaints at every location?

You might be better off trying the GF dock area. I'd also try for a mid-week night rather than weekend-that's when it gets crazy crowded.

The FEP might be scheduled a couple hours before the fireworks though--so what do you plan to do in between if they are?
