Parking @ Contemporary

I may have asked before, but if I park at the Contemporary for a PS at Chef Mickey's for 7am (and I understand that the TTC won't open until 7am), and am a resort guest, can I leave my car there all day and go to MK and come back for it at nighttime, or do I have to move it?

Are you a guest at the Contemporary or another resort? Only actual guests of the resort will get an unlimited parking pass. You will be given a 3 hour parking permit if you self park here.

Your best option is to Valet park. It costs $6 (plus tip) and you can leave the car all day with no restrictions. We did this a lot at Christmas at the monorail resorts and it worked like a charm. It doesnt matter if you are an onsite or offsite guest, anyone can use the Valet.

Thanks folks - I'm still slightly confused (nothing new there then!). I guess I'll find out when I get there, I'll park at the CR and head to MK for a while and then maybe come back to the car and head to Epcot or something like that.

To be honest, I can not find the advantage of parking there. Have heard it saves time, but after trying it out twice, did not see what time it saved.

Had the breakfast at Contemporary in Spet. Spoke to the Security Guard on the gate politely, and he let us park there all day for free!!!

You don't save much time vs parking in the MK carpark, but if its your first time, it's great to get the monorail and have a brief look at a few of the resorts (and to get an idea of the sheer size of the place!!)...........
Plus you save a few dollars...it may not work with the Security at the time, but the guy we had was so friendly.

I'm not sure, but if you are staying on Disney Property, can't you park anywhere for free anyway (you just have to show your parking permitt thingy!)
