Hello there! I searched the Resorts and Transporation forums, but didn't find the answer to my question-so hoping a Disser has some insight...

I will be attending a conference at the Caribe Royle, however, I will not be staying at the Caribe Royale. Does anyone know if there is a fee to park at the Caribe Royale for conferences if you are not a resort guest there?

Caribe Royale's website is vague on this issue, saying something like, "self-parking is free unless there is a special event and we decide to charge you."

I'm trying to lay out my budget for my work expenses so knowing the parking fees would be helpful.

Thanks for the help! ºOº

Why don't you call (or email) the hotel? You already have the general answer, self parking is generally free. Posters aren't going to know if there is an event going on while you're there which is so special Caribe will be charging for parking.

It's been a couple years, but when I visited friends there, there was no charge to park. Nor do I recall a set-up to even collect money.

Self-parking is free at that hotel and they have conferences there all the time. I've never heard of them charging for parking. I really don't see any way for them to charge you. They don't have gates on the lots or anything.

We were there last month, and they gave us a parking pass when we checked in. But, I never remembered to put it in the window, nor did I ever see anyone checking. Tons of parking, so I doubt it is an issue.
