PARKING AT WLV

Just wondering what the parking situation is at WLV. We usually stay at OKW and like the convenience of having our car right outside the door. We stayed at BWV last month and missed this convenience.

Only OKW has "condo" parking where you can get a space right by your unit. VWL has an arrangement similar to the Polynesian Resort, if anyone is familiar with that set-up. Parking is directly in front of the resort (although set back a bit) with the valet lot closest and then self-parking a bit further away but not too far (definitely not as far as BWV).

However, at the Wilderness Lodge the direct "path" from the parking lot to the resort entrance requires walking up steps. For those with strollers or wheelchairs, it may be easier to get dropped off at the entrance or use the valet parking.

first parking area on your left...you can access the VWL main entrance without having to use any steps and then when you go from the Villas to the main area of the Lodge...it is up a ramp-like walkway into the side entrance of the Lodge. We rarely went into the main area of the Lodge when we we there in February.

this area is behind the handicapped spaces every conveince to VWL.
