We'd like to have dinner at Geyser Point, but haven't visited Wilderness Lodge in a while. I know Geyser Point is walk up seating only, but does anyone know if we can park there without an ADR? We tried to have lunch at the Art of Animation food court a month or two ago, and they turned us away stating that parking was only for hotel guests. The cast member advised we could park at Disney Springs and take a bus over, but we just went to McDonald's instead lol.

Lots of older threads discuss parking. Disney has gotten wise to those who want to park for free at a resort in proximity to one of the four parks as a way to avoid paying for parking. Resort parking lots would fill up with guests planning to spend the day at the park leaving no room to park for those actually staying at the resort. The ability to park without an ADR depends on which resort, how busy they are and what time of day it is.

I was staying at WL two weeks ago and ended up valet parking early one evening because it was sprinkling, and we got tired of driving up and down rows, looking for a parking spot. I was considering it anyway since we were leaving at 5:30am and didn’t want to schlep our stuff to the far reaches of the lot if it were still raining, so not a big deal. Their lot is pretty small, so if the resort is close to capacity, I would think you’re likely to be turned away without a res, but that’s only from observation not experience.

Are you local or staying in a WDW resort? If staying in a WDW resort, bus over to MK and take the boat. If you are local and driving, park at TTC and boat over. Reports have been that some resorts will let you in without an ADR, some won't. I think you can pay for valet even if you aren't staying there but not sure how you would get past the gate guard.
