Parking at White Plains

I know this has been discussed before, but I would be interested in hearing from anyone who flew out of White Plains over Thanksgiving. Did you have any trouble finding a parking place? Did they open up any overflow parking there? I get a little worried hearing about the parking shortages. Unfortunately there isn't any easy way for us to get there from CT without driving.

We are scheduled to fly out on Friday Dec. 21 in the evening.

I didn't fly this weekend but I did fly last month & when we arrived & when we got back the parking at some point had been filled enough that they had cars parked on the curbs in the entrance & exit lanes and also on any available grassy areas. They have no actual overflow lot. There is no easy option when you come from CT. You drive your you don't fly out of White Plains. I couldn't find any company who could drive us.

I live in Westchester. The bottom line is there is NO parking at HPN. Maybe you can leave your car at a nearby hotel, and pay them, then grab a cab to the airport. You would not be the first person to miss a flight due to lack of parking. My guess is by 12/21 there will not be an open space.

We had no trouble finding parking in June when we went but in September we had a limo take us not a bad price either was worth the extra money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the replies. I called airport operations a few months ago and they told me that when it's busy they open up overflow parking and I shouldn't have a problem, but now I'm not so sure.

As if this trip wasn't stressful enough, now I have to worry about this.
