Parking at the Poly

How is parking at the Polynesian? Is it a long walk to self park? We are staying at the Hawaii building.

If we were to use valet parking, where would we go to get the car? Do you tip to drop off and pick up the car, or just pick up the car? How much would you tip?

First, the parking if fine. When exiting the main doors of the lobby, the parking lot looks pretty big, but I would say that from the valet to the end, its only bout a 150 feet long, not bad. Second, so it won't be a long walk from Hawaii. Instead of walking into the lobby every time to go to your car, walk near the kid's club and arcade, there is another side exit to the self parking area. Not even a five minute walk. Next, the valet, it's right outside of the main lobby doors, You can't miss it. When you first pull your car up to checkin your see it. It's right under the monorail. I usually just tip when I pick up my car, the usual is about 2 bucks, that's all you have to tip when they bring the car to you. And hopefully you know to tip the person that drives the car to you.
