parking at the parks

We've had an annual pass so long that I can't remember if you get free parking at the parks if you stay in a Disney resort. (My friends that think I'm the Disney Queen were appauled that I didn't have an answer!!!)

When you check in, you get a half-sheet of paper that you put on your dashboard. That is what you show at the gate before entering the parking lot at the theme park.

Also, I believe DVC members get free parking.

DVC members only get free parking while staying on site. We don't get it just by being a DVC member. DVC members do get free valet parking at the resorts that have it, but again, only when staying on site.

Actually, DVC members get free valet parking at BC, BW and WL anytime, but even they are not allowed to park at another resort to avoid parking in the theme park parking lot. Free parking for them is only to use the resort ammenities.
