Are you allowed to park at the Boardwalk if you are not staying at the resort? What if you have an ADR at a Boardwalk restaurant? Do you need to bring proof of that? Do you have a time limit? Thank so much.

We have never had a problem parking at the boardwalk, staying on or offproperty. Just tell them that you are going to the boardwalk. They will direct you to central parking area or valet.

Please realize that parking at Boardwalk is not always easy to get. If you don't plan to valet, get there early. You may have to circle the lot a few times to get a parking spot.

You can park at the Boardwalk without staying there. However, you might have a hike depending on the day. There are two restaurants there that don't take reservations - ESPN Club and Big River Grille. Just tell the gate guard you are visiting the nighttime stuff and they will let you in and guard you towards the proper places. If you circle around and don't want to walk, do the valet park. Even if you do have a dining reservation, same rules apply. I haven't been issued a time limit pass at Boardwalk.

The policy for parking at some resorts for ADRs is 3 hours, and for some resorts (not sure about the Bwalk) they will ask for your name (I have had them ask at the Poly and Contemporary). As the previous poster mentioned with all the nightime activities at the Bwalk, I would think the policy is pretty liberal.

I have also just said I wanted to visit the resort (around the holidays to see the decorations) and was let in by just showing my DL.

I always valet park - it's just easier, and the norm has been that I have not been given a time limit.

You can either valet park for $7.00 plus tip or you can self park across the street. We have done that on our last few trips and it works out well.
