Parking at the Boardwalk when staying off site...

We will be staying offsite and My DH likes to go to ESPN, can we still park at the Boardwalk without having to pay for valet park? Some days we will already have paid for parking at the theme parks and we cannot justify having to pay for valet as well.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how crowded the lot is.

Expect to pay, and be surprised if you don't have to. It'll be a better outcome than going expecting free parking and being forced to pay.

I looked it up it says $25 to valet park at Boardwalk.

( They are figuring you are not just eating at a restaurant but also enjoying all the other clubs/entertainment they have to offer.)

It also says Table in Wonderland receipt will get you free parking...so the only thing I would ask is if ESPN receipt could work too

Tables in Wonderland limits you to three hours. Usually you'd need an ADR to be able to park at BW if you aren't a guest staying there. Valet parking is now $33 a night.

However, if you paid to park at a theme park earlier in the day, you could park at DHS with your receipt from the first parking and take a boat (if they are running again) to the BW from DHS.
