Hi, I have a few resort dining reservations coming up but since we are staying offsite with a larger group we have two car rentals. Is parking at resorts free and after we finish dining can we stay parked at the resort and take hr monorail to the parks? We bought annual passes so we have free parking at the parks but it would be easier in some cases to remain parked at the resorts on those days. TIA!!

But parking at resorts is free during our ADR, correct? We don't have to valet it during that time, right? Thanks!

Sorry, no. The resort lots just aren't big enough for people to use them for theme-park parking. If you have a dining reservation, you're generally allowed to leave your car long enough to have a leisurely meal and explore the resort a bit - say, a few hours. If you're going to a theme park after your meal, you're expected to move your car to a theme park lot, or pay for valet parking.

If you're dining in the MK area, you're better off parking your car at the TTC (MK's parking lot). You can then use that as your transportation hub for the day. You can walk to the Poly from there, or catch a monorail or ferry to MK, or monorail to Epcot, or monorail to the other resorts on the loop.

As others say no unless you pay to valet you can not leave your car after your ADR.
You would have to eat, then move your car to the theme park parking lot - losing park time.
Since you have AP free parking just go to the TTC, park, ride resort monorail to your ADR.

Nope. You either have to valet park (if it is available) or move your cars after you are done eating.

You may park free when using the resort facilites. Once you step away from that resort, your car is supposed to leave too! If you're planning on taking the monorail, why not just park at the TTC....parking is free with the AP.

Thanks! I'm only questioning because my mom will be in a scooter so I was trying to figure out what would be easiest for her after we finished dining. But it looks like the TTC is the way to go. Thanks all!
