Parking at resort??

Ok I have a question and I think it's on the right board sorry if it's not. We are staying at OKW we have AP and we are DVC one of them gives us free parking. If we go to a resort for breakfast let's just say CMC in BC and then go to MGM for the day can we leave our rental van there till we are done at MGM and just hop on the boat or walk or do we have to drive over to MGM and park there?

Usually you get a three hour parking pass at a resort for a meal.

DVC members have free valet parking at the DVC resorts. BC has the DVC attached to it, so, if you use valet parking you could park there for the day.

I could be wrong, but I thought that the free valet parking was only for the resort you were a registered guest at.

DVC get free valet at all DVC resorts.

BUT you are not suppose to park at a resort and then head to a park all day. You should park at MGM parking if you plan to stay at the park all day.

They do ask why you are visiting the resort and give out 3 hour passes to avoid people doing what you are suggesting.

DVC members do not even have to be staying on site to take advantage of this perk at BWV, VWL or BCV.

Beattyfamily and I disagree regarding the use of valet parking. Except during the peak of the peak periods, the valet lots are never full. I see nothing wrong with using valet parking. The valets depend on tips for their living. JMHO. YMMV.

Last week we were at OKW and parked at BWV for the day and did Epcot, and didn't have a problem. Everywhere we drove we had our OKW parking pass on the dash and nobody ever questioned our parking anywhere.

Thanks so much!! I appreciate the information most likely I won't exceed the 3 hr time but it's nice to know if I did it wouldn't be a problem. Trying to get DS 11 DS 5 DS 2 and DD 1 off and ready for a 8am Ressie can always be tricky then add the bus trip and walk to the bus this will help.
